Wesley Glenn Dalrymple, 67, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died January 1, 2015 in Cozad, NE.
He was born May 6, 1947 in Denver, CO, son of William Glenn and Katholeen "Kaye" (Hiles) Dalrymple.
Wesley Glenn lived in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Nebraska. Glenn graduated from Greeley West High School. He served his country in the US Army from July 1968 to Nov 1969. Glenn worked a variety of jobs including postal service, maintenance and farming. Glenn was a Master Mason and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW, Disabled Veterans of America. Glenn enjoyed bowling and playing pool. He collected coins, stamps and match books.
Survivors include brother, Jim (Connie) Dalrymple of Gothenburg, NE, brother, Daniel Dalrymple of Gothenburg, NE, daughter, Sonja Dalrymple and her family of Grand Island, NE, aunt Rosemarie (Walter) Kampfe of Gothenburg, NE, special friend Shirley Baxter; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Wesley Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Monday, January 5, 2015, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with the family present from 5-7.
Funeral Services will be held at American Lutheran Church, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jon Mapa officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
