Tammy Jo Anderson, 58, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died May 8, 2017 at her home Gothenburg, NE following heart complications.

She was born July 24, 1958 in Callaway, NE, daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Zablotny) Morse.

Tammy grew up on a farm south of Arnold where she gained her passion for horses.  Her family then moved to Cozad where she graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1976.  Tammy and Milan married on May 26, 1989 and resided in Gothenburg since that time. She was a long time employee of Monroe's.  She loved riding her horses and spending time with her family and friends especially on their porch on their acreage.   Tammy loved to worship the Lord.  She loved to share her passion for the Lord to anyone that would listen.  She truly lived for Jesus.  She was a member of the Crossing Fellowship.  Tammy was given a second chance at life when she received a heart transplant on August 24, 2015.

Surviving are husband, Milan Dean Anderson of Gothenburg, NE, daughter, Lacy (Scott) McVay,  two step-daughters Becky Dishman and Deanna (Fred) Starr; son, Nathan Topinka;  thirteen grandchildren Christopher, Seth, Kaden, Alec, Brett, Ryleigh, Joey, Keegan, Nolan, Destiny, Cheyenne, Caiden, William; one great grandchild, Phineus; special friend Heather (Nick) Barnes, Morgan and Hattie; mother Mary Ann "Mimi" Morse; four brothers, Bernard (Carmen) Morse of Cozad, NE, Bill (Lynnette) Morse of Grand Island, NE, Mark (Karmen) Morse of Cozad, NE, Kent (Mary) Morse of Cozad, NE; along with many extended family and friends.

Tammy was preceded in death by father, Kenneth Morse and her in-laws Oscar and Dorothy Anderson.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Monday, May 15, 2017, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. with the family present from 4:00-6:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Evangelical Free Church, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:30 am with Eric Most officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gaslin Cemetery, Brady, NE.

Memorials may be given to The Crossing Fellowship Building Fund.
