Suzanne Bartruff

Suzanne  Bartruff, 87, of Eustis, Nebraska, died September 26, 2022 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born June 20, 1935 in Seward, NE; daughter of Homer and Susan Belle (Moore) Gadeke.

Suzanne spent most of her childhood and adult years in Eustis. On November 29, 1953 she married Max Bartruff and to this union four children were born; Connie, Leann, Jodi, and son Kyle.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Eustis and the West Canyonetts Extension Club.  Suzanne was a past 4-H leader, Bible School Teacher and custodian for the church and multiple businesses around town.  She also enjoyed sewing and crafting, flowers, gardening, and walking.

Survivors include, Connie (Bill) Irwin of Pompano Beach, FL and their children Jared (Nicole) Easterday and Jennifer (Sergi Mansilla) Easterday; Leann (Mike) Karr of Hendersn, NV and their children Kelsey Karr, Jana (Jon) Miner and Matt (Lorin) Karr; Jodi (Scott) Rupe of Eustis and their children Calvin (Amber) Rupe and Joleen (Anson) Hueftle; son, Kyle (Kelly) Bartruff, of Eustis and their daughter Kenzie Bartruff; brother, Tex (Judy) Gadeke of Quincy, IL; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband Max, her parents Homer T. and Susan  Belle Gadeke and sister Joan Rolland.

Services will be held at Eustis United Methodist Church, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Duncan Ibuuri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Eustis East Cemetery, Eustis, NE.

Memorials may be given to the Eustis United Methodist Church.
