Shirley Lundstrom

Shirley Lundstrom (Rabbass) passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the age of 82 years old from complications with her heart.  Shirley was born on October 2, 1939 at home on a farm in Wisner, NE to Rudy and Mabel Rabbass.  She attended school in Beemer, NE and after graduating she married Ward Lundstrom from Scribner, NE on July 19, 1958; the couple would have been married for 64 years this July.  They made their home in North Bend, NE and in 1977 the couple moved to Gothenburg, NE where Shirley spent many years working for the Gothenburg State bank now named Flatwater Bank.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Rudy and Mabel Rabbass, one brother Ron Rabbass of Black Hawk, SD and one daughter Cindy McKeone of Cozad, and son Marty Lundstrom.

Surviving Shirley are husband Ward Lundstrom of Gothenburg, two sisters Fayne Hastings of Phoenix, AZ and Marilyn Lemm of West Point, NE. Shirley leaves behind two sons; Scott Lundstrom of Gothenburg and Todd (Wendy) Lundstrom of North Platte, NE; along with four grandchildren Shawn, Julie, Andy, Mitch and eight great grandchildren; Gunnar, Beau, Chandler, Evie , Ella, Michal, Christian, and Bryson.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, NE.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 6, 2022, 10:00 am at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, NE.

Burial will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
