Sharon Gunther, 74, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died November 21, 2015 in Gothenburg, NE.
She was born June 19, 1941 in Scottsbluff, NE, daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Ready) Eurich. She grew up in Scottsbluff, NE graduating from Scottsbluff High School in 1959. She married Don Tompkins in 1959 and to this union two children were born Danny and Shelley. Don and Sharon later divorced and she married Dan White. They moved to Gothenburg in 1977. In 1981 they were divorced. On December 17, 1982 Sharon married Wayne Gunther.
Sharon was an avid bowler, she was a member of the Nebraska Women's Bowling Association and the 600 club. She shared this love of bowling with her children and grandchildren and now it has been passed on to a third generation. She won the National Family Doubles Tournament in 1998 with her grandson Zachary. Sharon belonged to the United Methodist Church for many years.
Sharon enjoyed reading, fishing and camping, crafting, quilting and crocheting. She was also an avid Husker fan.
She survived by her husband Wayne Gunther of Gothenburg, son Danny (Mary) Tompkins of Scottsbluff, NE daughter, Shelley Tetley of North Platte; five grandchildren: Dr. Rebecka (David) Tompkins-Rosmann, Melissa (Sean) Larson, Trevor Tetley, Megan Tetley and Leslie Tompkins, five great grandchildren Nathan Tompkins, Noah Schwarz, Mason Schwarz, Ruger Tetley and baby Rosmann; numerous nieces and nephews
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harvey Eurich, grandson Zachary Tompkins, great grandson Barrett Love and nephew Chris Eurich.

Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church, Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Joel Plisek officiating.
Interment will take place in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska.
