Ronald Clay Bice, 73, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died October 21, 2010 in Gothenburg, NE.
He was born August 30, 1937 in Lexington, NE, son of Roy and Grace (Flynn) Bice.
Ron worked as a self-employed Bricklayer and for Lexington Masonry and for Schwarz Brother of Lexington.
He was a member of Bricklayers Union. Ron enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends, fishing and camping. Ron enjoyed watching football, especially Husker Football, playing cards, music and dancing and enjoyed giving people a hard time and joking around.
Surviving are daughters, Cindy and Pat Soller of Gothenburg, NE, Karla and Jesse Rios of Gothenburg, sons David Bice of Topeka, KS, Kevin and Patty Jo Bice of Broomfield, CO, and Ron Bice of Incirlik AB, Turkey, granddaughters, Katy and Josh Trevino, Anny Soller and Vanessa and Dustin Holbein all of Gothenburg, NE, Hannah Thomas of Broken Bow, NE, Jocelyn and Tara Bice of Broomfield, CO, great-grandchildren, Kayla, Shaddix, Gauge, Kayvin, Charisma, Taysia, and Audrey, sisters Thelma Kaps, Lee Curtis, Beverly and Dale Cochrane, sister-in-law, Roberta Bice, numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Bice, his parents, grandson, Zachary Rios, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, LaVauna (Tiny) and John Hopkins, Daisy and Alfred Hagan, Vern Kaps, Velma (Tudy) and Virgil Hagan, Roger Bice, Valda and Earl Hagan, Carol and Carolyn Bice, 4 infant siblings, and Viva Carr, Doris Whitney, Betty Moore, Lorretta Langley.
