Robert "Scott" Magee, 56, of Curtis, Nebraska, died April 29, 2012 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, North Platte, NE, as the result of an auto accident.
He was born January 27, 1956 in McCook, NE, son of Leland John Magee and Geraldine Evelyn Magee.
Scott entered the US Army in 1978, but due to his father's failing health, he returned to help run the family farm.
Scott worked as a Foreman for Weeth Feedlot, where he spent most of his time, but in his free time he spent it tending to his huge and always productive garden, cooking not only his well know salsa dip, but other dishes as well. Most importantly, Scott spent his time with his loved ones, especially his grandson Charlie.
Left to cherish his memory are son, Josh Magee of Curtis, NE, daughter, Haley Magee of Hastings and grandson Charlie Scott Walker Magee, step-son, Elliot Garrison of Anchorage, Alaska, mother, Geraldine Magee of Curtis, brother, Mike Magee (Nancy) of Clarion, Iowa, sisters: Valeria Hicks (Jim) of Curtis, Janet Wells (Nick) of Colby, Kansas, Kristie Cocrane (Tim) of Cornelius, North Carolina, nephews: Bo Hicks, Kyle and Dirk Campbell, Trevor Wells, Kevin, Travis, and Reese Cocrane, Matthew Magee, nieces: Jessica Nasello, Sid Magee, and Cassie Wells, and a host of relatives and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Leland John Magee.
Scott was a loving father and friend, well known by many for his generous heart and truthful nature.
