Growing up on a farm, Randy had numerous opportunities to ride on the combine and in the grain trucks during harvest, play in the dirt, climb trees, chase chickens, and so much more.

He attended the Developmental Training Center in McCook for his early education.

Randy lived with his friend Rodney Munster in Gothenburg, NE and attended South Central Developmental Center in Cozad.

People praised Randy for his good manners and polite behavior. He always wore a smile and was not known to complain. Randy loved music, dancing, singing, bingo, and watching movies. Randy also enjoyed short trips to casinos and playing the slots with family members.

Randall was preceeded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elda Roethemeyer; a brother-in-law, Denny Geiser; niece, Diane Roethemeyer; nephews, Matthew and Eugene Jesse, and Lane Geiser.

He is survived  by:  Jerry and Pat Roethemeyer and family, Melva Jean Geiser and family, Joyce and Gary Jesse and family, Donna and Jim Brown and family, Phylis and Jay Anderson and family, Donald Roethemeyer and family, Gordon and Mary Roethemeyer and family, Stanley Roethemeyer and family, Virginia Roethemeyer and family.
