Ralph L. Craig, 88, of Maxwell, NE, died May 21, 2011 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE.
Ralph Lauren Craig was born August 10, 1922 at Cheyenne, Wyoming to Wilmer and Ina (York) Craig. Ralph grew up in Gothenburg graduating from Gothenburg High School in 1941. On October 1, 1942 Ralph joined the Army Air Corps where he served his country until February 23, 1946. Ralph married Doris Larson on March 16, 1947 in Gothenburg. Ralph worked for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and then later he and Doris raised and purchased Angus Cattle and sold bulls on there ranch west of Maxwell.
Ralph was a Mason and a member of the Brady United Methodist Church for 61 years. He enjoyed history especially Nebraska history around the Fort McPherson area.
Ralph is survived by his wife Doris Craig of Maxwell; his brother-in-law Mike and Marian Larson of Gothenburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother Lester, three sister-in-law's Dorothy Craig, Marilyn Ristine and Yvonne McClellen, two brothers-in-law Burt Ristine and Don McClellen.
