Michael Soller

Michael L. Soller, 67, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died September 5, 2021 at CHI in Kearney, NE.

He was born April 14, 1954 in Cozad, NE, son of Donald and Beverly (Nielsen) Soller.

Mike attended country school and then Gothenburg High School before farming with his grandfather Albert Soller.  Mike farmed the family farm and raised Hereford and cross bred cattle until his health would no longer allow him to.  He enjoyed racing motorcycles and hunting.  Mike was an avid collector of guns and antiques.  He was a lover of cats and dogs and had several pets over the years.  Mike was very talented in ironwork, specifically welding and could fabricate most anything he set his mind to create.

He is survived by his parents Donald and Beverly Soller of Gothenburg; brother, Patrick Soller of Gothenburg; two nieces, Katy Soller and Anny Soller both of Gothenburg; grandmother, Alice Soller-Hutchinson of Gothenburg; four great nephews, Shaddix Soller, Kayvin Soller, Tydus Soller, Cylas Soller, and sister-in-law Cindy Soller.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents and his great nephew Gauge Soller.

Memorial Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.

Inurnment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Gothenburg, NE.
