Mary Jane Dyke, 69, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died June 21, 2015 at her home in Gothenburg, NE.
She was born October 3, 1945 in Arnold, NE, daughter of Scott Tietjens and Florence Alberta (Robinson) Tietjens.
Mary grew up at Arnold, NE and attended school there. Mary married Charles "Bud" Dyke at Minden, NE in the 1960's; even after their later divorce, they remained friends. Mary worked as a contract mail carrier. She was a member of the VFW and was a Boy Scout Leader. She enjoyed her family, cooking, baking, and sports. She enjoyed Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and watching the 700 club. She enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemarie Rae Weston, daughter, Suzanne Renee Winfield, her sister Florence; brother Frank, seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her ex-husband Bud Dyke; along with extended family & friends.
Mary was preceded in death by father, Scott Tietjens; mother, Florence Alberta Connely; sister Katherine Mae; sister Carol; sister Cathy, brother Henry and two great grandchildren Alxandria and Xane.
