She was born March 7, 1908, to Otto and LuEtta Robinson Gugelman near Orafino. She graduated from Orafino High School in 1925, and married Glenn H Castor on June 23, 1925. Martha worked as the postmaster in Stockville before retiring and moving to Denver. In 1998, she moved back to Curtis. She was a member of the Rebekaha's and the Grange. Martha enjoyed playing the piano for many years for various functions and organizations. The afghans she enjoyed knitting are cherished by almost every member of her family. Her had an enjoyment of golf which she played through this year and was made an honorary lifetime member of Arrowhead Meadows golf course. Her great passion was her children and grandchildren. She loved to tell stories about them growing up and each had their own special story. She was always caring for everyone else and always thought of them first.
Survivors include sons, Douglas (Pat) Castor of Curtis, Wayne (Diane) of Broomfield Colo.; son-in-law, Gene Cole of Curtis; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great- grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in January 1999; son, Dale; daughter Claudine Cole; and son, Marvin (Punk).

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at the Stockville Congregational Church in Stockville with Raymond Durner officiating.
Burial will take place in the Arbor Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel in Curtis.
