Loretta Dewey

Loretta Joann (Kahler) Dewey was born to Dan and Ruby (Folkers) Kahler on February 27, 1939 in Frontier County.
Loretta passed away December 12, 2014 in Great Plains Hospital in North Platte at the age of 75.

Loretta grew up in Frontier County and attended rural school until 9th grade. She completed her education at McCook graduating in 1957. In October 17, 1959 she was united in marriage to John White at Garden Prairie Church. To this union four children was born; Jeff, Joel, Joan and Jaye. Loretta's second marriage was to Vernon L. Dewey.

She was preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents; Parents; brother David and her first husband John White and her aunts and uncles.

Loretta is survived by her children Jeff of Lincoln, Nebraska; Joel of Lebanon,Kansas; Joan of Curtis, Nebraska; and Jaye of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sisters Janice (Wendell) Peters of McCook, Nebraska and Barbara (Rod) Vrbka of Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maywood Cemetery.
