Katherine J. Cole, 90, of Kinsley, KS, formerly of Curtis, died on September 29, 2008 at Kinsley, KS.
Katherine was born on February 6, 1918 to Chris & Maggie (Steffensen) Thomsen at Minden, NE. Katherine grew up in Curtis and attended schools there.
Katherine married Grover Cole on July 3, 1939 at Stockville, NE; to this union three children were born: Arthur, Larry and Georgia.
Katherine and Grover made their home in Kinsley, Kansas for the past 25 years.
Katherine is survived by her husband Grover of 69 years, three children: Arthur C. Cole of Owassa, OK; Larry K. Cole of Spearville, KS; and Georgia Howe of Prospect, KY; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2008 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska with Pastor Lana Fong officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 3 from 9:00-1:00 pm at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel in Curtis.
