Jonathan D Wright, 58, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died July 27, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.
He was born December 12, 1956 in Wilmington, OH, son of David E Wright and Edith Irene (Huddleson) Wright.
Jonathan served his country in the US Navy from November 9, 1976 to January 6, 1978. He worked as a truck driver for the UPRR. He married Linda Mullen on November 17, 1977 and to this union five children were born. Jonathan moved to Gothenburg in 2008 from Wyoming. He loved fishing, singing and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his three sons, Thomas (Jessica) Wright, Anthony (Shelby Carlsen) Wright of Gothenburg, NE, Derick Wright of Anacortes, WA; two daughters, Windy (Gerry) Riddle of Gothenburg, NE, Jamie Wright of Hillsboro, OH; brother, Donald (Susan) Wright of WY; two sisters, Gale (Randy) Goad of WV, Judy Wright of OH; 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Jonathan was preceded in death by father, David Elwood Wright, mother, Edith Irene Wright.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
