Jessie H.. Davis 91 of Gothenburg died on April 26, 2007 at Hilltop Estates, Gothenburg.
Jessie was born September 15, 1915 at her familyé�a��a��s home in Gothenburg, the fifth child of Robert & Grace (Aunspaugh) Davis.
She attended country school at District 84 thru 8th grade. Jessie was a housekeeper, caretaker, baby sitter, and cleaned the Haythorn's Ranch. She raised chickens and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting.
Jessie is survived by her sister Edna Mauer and her sister-in-law Lela Davis, both of Gothenburg. Also surviving her are many nieces and nephews.
Jessie was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Opal Kicker, Dorothy Davis and Helen Giboney; 2 brothers: Wyatt & Kenneth Davis.
Memorials may be directed to the American Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2007 from 1 -5 p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the American Lutheran Church with Pastor Matthew Groenke officiating. Burial will be in the Peckham Cemetery.
