Jeffrey Lee Clark, 59, of Brady, Nebraska, died June 6, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer at his home near Brady, NE.
He was born June 15, 1952 in Gothenburg, NE, son of Dale and Betty Lou (Miller) Clark.
Jeff grew up in the Brady area and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Brady High School and Mid-Plains Community College. Jeff married Laurel J. Schulz on September 7, 1974 at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg; to this union three daughters were born - Shannon, Sarah and Erin.
Jeff was the treasurer of Banner Methodist Church for over 30 years. He was active with Gideon's International and the Pony Express Re-Ride. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, church and Bible study, along with farming and ranching.
Surviving are his loving wife, Laurie Clark of Brady, NE, three daughters - Shannon (Paul) Peterson, Sarah M. Baker, Erin (Jake) Fairley; six grandchildren: Savannah and Emma Peterson, Josie, Jordan, Hunter, and Riley Baker, and Baby Fairley; his father Dale (Ardith) Clark; a brother Rickie J (Coleen) Clark; a sister Susan (Randy) Schroeder; four step-brothers: Michael (Heidi) Sheets, Chris (Sandra) Sheets, John (Jeannie) Sheets, Clint (Christy) Sheets; two step-sisters: Patty (Ike) Miller, Joyce (Rick) Buhlke; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou Clark, grandparents James S. and Sara Clark, grandparents Herman and Freda Miller, father-in-law Milton Schulz.
