Jeffrey Bryon Landen, 33, of Gothenburg, passed away on October 26, 2009 as a result of an auto accident south of Gothenburg, NE.
He was born on January 4, 1976 to James and Sue (Smets) Landen at Greeley, CO.
He grew up in Laramie, WY and Ogallala, NE. He attended Linford Elementary School, West fifth Elementary School and graduated from Ogallala High School.
Jeff worked for the UPRR as a conductor. He was a member of Pony Express Ramrodders.
He loved hunting and fishing, especially Canada fishing trips with his Grandpa, Uncle Tom, his dad and other friends. His ice fishing trips with Grandpa, Dad and Bubba will be remembered by all. He enjoyed cooking especially for many friends and family and was very good at it. The thing that Jeff loved the most was spending time with his son. Jeff and Alex enjoyed fishing and going to the river.
Jeff is survived by his son - Alexander James Landen; his parents Jim and Sue Landen; brother - Tyler Landen and special friend Christina Berryman; sister- Samantha Landen and special friend Jeremy Anderson; his girlfriend of ten years Wendy Walker; Grandma Dort Smets; along with many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by Grandpa Herb, Grandma & Grandpa Landen, Great Grandma & Grandpa Kellogg, Great Grandma & Grandpa Smets, Aunt Marge.
