Jeanne was born July 30, 1946 in Madison, WI to Frank and Irene (Jensen) Haines. She retired from the Army as a Major after managing Army Obstetrics floors in Germany, Korea, and the U.S. Her love of life included Family and Friends, Books, Gol1 Gardening, Cooking, Canning, Motorcycling, and Christmas candy making; as her friends and acquaintances can attest to her Truffles and Chocolate covered cherries.
Jeanne leaves a Daughter Anne Schickler and Son Sylvester Fourroux ofé�a��a�� Mobile, AL, Sisters Barbara (Charles) Alderman Brooklet, GA, Christine Abney of Newton, GA, Brothers Frank (Patty) Haines of Slidell, LA, Walter (Alice) Haines of Richmond Hills, GA, Mother lrene of Newton, GA, Grand children Kendra and Damian Schickler of Mobile, AL, Life Partner Lou Bovitz, special friends Regis and Doug Swanson, and Beverly and Eric Fenner of Gothenburg, NE.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her father.
Honorary Pallbearers Sylvester Fourroux, Doug Swanson, Regis Swanson, Eric Fenner, Beverly Fenner, Roger Wahlgren, Terry Mann. Those wishing to sign the registrar book may do so Tuesday, March 11, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 10:00 a.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Matthew Groenke officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Fort McPherson National Cemeteryfollowed by a celebration of Jeanneé�a��a��s life at the house.
Memorials are suggested to Central Plains Hospice.
