James Alan "Opie" Keiser, 49, of Victor, Idaho, formerly of Gothenburg, NE died April 7, 2018 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He was born June 29, 1968 in Gothenburg, NE, son of Willard and Laura (Tuttle) Keiser. Growing up on the family farm, Jim enjoyed the cows but didn't really care for farming. Jim graduated from Gothenburg High School with the class of 1986. He attended Kearney State College. He served his country in the US Army from 1990 to 1994. He liked hunting, shooting trap, kayaking and golfing. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Jim owned a hot tub business for many years.
Surviving are his parents, Willard & Laura Keiser, his sister Pam Aden and her children Rhiannon and Neriah, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents - Grandma and Grandpa Keiser and Grandma and Grandpa Tuttle; his brother-in-law Patrick Aden.
Memorial services will be held at American Lutheran Church, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 am with Pastor Jon Mapa officiating.
