Jackie Lee Floro, 81, of North Platte, Nebraska, died May 24, 2016 in North Platte, NE.

Jackie L. Floro, was born February 26. 1935 in Curtis, Nebraska to Dock Floro and Alpha (Baker) Floro, he passed away at Great Plains Health Center in North Platte, NE on May 24, 2016 at the age of 81. Jack had lived in Curtis, Nebraska his entire life. He lived with his mother until she died, at that time he moved to Frontier Village where he lived for 42 years until May 2, 2016 when he moved to the North Platte Care Center.
Jack worked at the Star Theater in his early years, and later worked with the trash collection in Curtis for a number of years.
Jack was known by everyone in town, he enjoyed having coffee with friends at the co-op and spent time at the Curtis Senior Center.
Jack is survived by his brother Tomie (Linda) Floro of North Platte, NE; brother-in-law Harlan Herrick of North Platte, a special niece Brenda (Monty) Pieper of Maywood, and many other nieces and nephews:
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dock Jr and Charles Floro, sisters, Carrie Lou Jepson, Shirley Herrick and Martha Gardner.

Memorial services will be held at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 am with Greg Hall officiating.
