Gregory Alan Sabin, 63, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died November 8, 2024 in Gothenburg, Nebraska.
He was born September 29, 1961 in Gothenburg, NE, son of Stan Lee Sabin and Karen (Bringelson) Luttrell.
Greg worked for many years at Goshen Rubber (now Parker) and other places in Gothenburg throughout his life. Greg was in the Army for a short time. He was married to Mary in 1984 and this union brought twin boys Casey and Corby and a daughter Tandi, as well as a step-daughter Brandi. He always knew about history and liked to teach the girls especially when vacationing in South Dakota or Colorado. Greg always had a comb in his pocket to keep his hair "looking good."
Greg later divorced and met fiancé Tina Corrigan. They shared many trips and he enjoyed spending time with her and her daughter and grandkids. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, going to Sturgis, attending kids sporting activities, and watching westerns.
Survivors include: daughter, Tandi Sabin (Cody Blankenship) of Lincoln, step-daughter, Brandi (Trent) Kloepping of Cozad, mother, Karen Luttrell of Gothenburg, fiancé, Tina Corrigan of Gothenburg, step-daughter, Jesseca Corrigan of Brady; two brothers, Randy (Tammy) Sabin of Gothenburg, Mike Johnston of Gothenburg, sister, Stacey (Mike) Land of Central City; grandson, Camden Blankenship, step-granddaughters Ryann, Hadley, and Zaveri Kloepping, Kloey Corrigan and Ailyah Mitchum, step grandson Aiden Mitchum, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by father, Stan Lee Sabin, sister-in-law, Angie Johnston, sons Casey Lee and Corby Lynn Sabin, grandparents, John and Gertrude Bringelson, grandparents, John and Eva Sabin.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Thursday, November 14, 2024, 4:00-7:00 pm with the family present from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Litzenberger officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the family for later designation.
