Gary Kruse

Biography

Gary Lynn Kruse, 51, of Gothenburg passed away on September 17, 2008 at his home in Gothenburg.

Gary was born on January 20, 1957 at Cozad, NE to Wilbert & Esther (Sheets) Kruse.

Gary grew up in Cozad and attended schools in Gothenburg and Cozad. Gary married Angie Dishman on July 13, 1979 at the Nazarene Church in Gothenburg.

Gary worked as a truck driver, most recently for Gothenburg Feed Products. In his free time he enjoyed playing pool in the APA Pool Leagues and spending time with his family. Gary was proud of the fact that he could do a rubiks cube in under two minutes. Gary enjoyed watching his game shows and any John Wayne movie. He also enjoyed listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert & Esther Kruse, his father-in-law William Dishman and a sister-in-law Maria Kruse.

Survivors include his wife Angie of Gothenburg; three sons: Shane (Tasha), Triston, & Kendall; daughter Brittany; one grandson Leviathan; three brothers: Quen, Gene, and Terry (Vicky); and a sister Sandy (Marvin) Tabor,

Visitation will be held Friday, September 19, 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the family present from 6-8 at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 10:30 am at Blasé©-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.
