Evalyn Booth Keiser, 92, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died on October 19, 2011 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born on May 25, 1919 to Charles and Edith (Lange) Booth at Pine Bluffs, WY. She graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1937.

On June 4, 1939 she married Arthur Koester at her parents home in Gothenburg, NE. To this union two children were born: Mary and Randall. Arthur passed away on March 4, 1983.

She married Lester Keiser on December 28, 1985 at the United Methodist Church in Gothenburg, NE. He passed away on September 23, 1990.

Evalyn enjoyed home entertaining, sewing, baking, dancing and playing bridge. She had belonged to the same Bridge club and Supper Club since 1945. She managed a number of rental properties over the years. She was a past president of the United Methodist Women and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was very active in church activities and helped design the new kitchen at the United Methodist Church.

Evalyn is survived by her daughter - Mary Magana of Ignacio, CO; son - Randall (Judy) Koester of Marshfield, MO; and 2 granddaughters - Stacy (Tony) Jeffries of Gothenburg, NE, Christi (Tim) Koester of Lincoln, NE, two grandsons - Matt (Amber) Magana of Dannebrog, NE and Todd (Jami) Koester of Kearney, NE, eleven great-grandchildren; three step-children and their families Melody of Colorado Springs, CO; Pete (Shelli) of Pilger, NE; Yancey of Lincoln, NE; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Arthur Koester and Lester Keiser; three brothers Gifford, Kenneth, and Victor "Bud" Booth; two sisters, Charlotte McIntosh and Alice Herman; step grandson Andrew Koch
