Edwin Mcdonald

Edwin R. McDonald, 49, of Maxwell, NE died August 8, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.

Edwin was born April 18, 1972 in Gothenburg, NE, son  of Carl and Kathleen Joy (Lindstedt) McDonald.

Edwin grew up in Gothenburg and attended school until his family moved to Oklahoma and finished school there.

Edwin worked as a Horticulturist, he also worked at the Haymill in Cozad, NE,  and was a very good handyman.

During his lifetime he enjoyed smoking all kinds of meats, cheeses and was working on figuring out a way to smoke chocolate.

He enjoyed collecting coins, fishing, hunting, and anything that included his family and friends, his animals and loved traveling. He recently found God again and was excited to be attending church services again.

Survivors include one daughter, Serenity, sister, Angela (James) Bowyer of North Platte, NE, three brothers, Victor Bevard Jr., Joseph (Holly) Bevard, Dakota Perego, three step-brothers, Ryan (Cheri) Meredith of Cozad, NE, Scott (Becki) Meredith, Kenny (Dawn) Meredith along with many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Edwin was preceded in death by mother, Kathleen Joy Meredith, father Carl McDonald and his grandparents.

Memorials may be given to the family.
