Edwin Cohagan

Edwin Cohagan, 83, of North Platte, Nebraska, died November 9, 2017 at his home in North Platte.
He was born August 5, 1934 in Central City, NE, son of Paul and Daisy Cohagan.
Ed served his country in the Navy from 1952 - 1955. Ed married Darla Stark on August 18, 1979 at Loomis United Methodist Church. To this union one son, Ryan was born.
He was a member of the American Legion, and the Eagles Club.
Ed enjoyed spending time with family, knitting, embroidering, and always enjoyed getting outside and doing yard work.
Surviving are wife, Darla Cohagan of North Platte, NE, son, Ryan (Mary) Cohagan of Omaha, NE, granddaughter, Tegan Cohagan, grandson, Keiran Cohagan, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Edwin was preceded in death by father, Paul Cohagan, mother, Daisy Cohagan, brother, Chester DeVon Cohagan, brother, Francis "Copey" Cohagan, brother-in-law, Robert Glinsmann, and nephew, Tyler Ehlers.
Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.
It was Ed's wish that those attending the service wear casual wear.
