Dwayne Robert Morrison, 46, of North Platte, died December 18, 2007 at Gothenburg.

Dwayne was born October 27, 1961 at Lexington, NE  to Harvey E. & June F. (Burr) Morrison.  He attended rural Lexington schools, Lexington and Overton senior high schools.  He served his country in the Army.

Dwayne worked at Gothenburg Feed Products Co. as a mill operator up until the time of his death.  He lived in Lexington, Overton, Torrington, WY, and was most recently living in North Platte.  Dwayne married Kimberly Kay Sherard on May 3, 2005 at Elwood.  Dwayne enjoyed playing cards and watching football and phone calls to family.

Dwayne is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Morrison of North Platte; son Jacob Allen Morrison of North Platte;  step-son Scott James Sherard of Gothenburg; 2 daughters: Emily Nichole & Mariah Dawn Morrison both of North Platte;  parents Harvey & June Morrison of Lexington; 3 brothers: Phil (Deb) Morrison of Chaplen, SC, Mike (Kim) Morrison of Evans, CO;  Bill Morrison of Lexington, NE;  a sister: Christina Morrison of Eddyville, NE;  Sister-in-law: Tracy (Randy) Underwood of North Platte; brother-in-law Robert (Judy) Sherard, Jr of Gothenburg; many nieces & nephews; special friends Darrel & Becky Fienner, Nick & Tony Canas.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his grandparents William & Loretta Burr, Byrdia Farr, and George Morrison.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, NE with Pastor Eric Meissner officiating.

Burial will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.   Visitation will be Friday, December 21, from 4:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel.
