Donald Hood, 61, of Gothenburg, NE died on February 2, 2008 at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital.
Donald was born on May 22, 1946 at Gothenburg, NE to Ray and Eleanor Helen (Jorgenson) Geiken. He grew up and attended Gothenburg Public Schools. After High School he went to work as a truck driver. He retired from trucking due to health issues.
Donald enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping wild game. He enjoyed watching golf, tennis and football.
He is survived by his brother Roger Hood of Brady, NE; three sisters Sandra Thompson of Cozad, NE; Norma Sanchez and husband Evy of Longmont, CO; Joan Heinen of Fort Atkinson, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
