Dolly Bihlmaier

Dolly Jo Bihlmaier, 67, of Gothenburg died on March 12, 2008 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.

Dolly was born on November 28, 1940 at Cozad , NE to Voyle & Irene (Buss) Troxel. Dolly grew up in the Cozad & Lexington area and also Rushville , S.D. She moved to Gothenburg in 1967.

Dolly married Larry L. Bihlmaier on May 14, 1967 at Lexington . To this union two daughters were born: Kim & Patty. She worked as a dishwasher for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching old shows. Dolly took great pride in staying home to raise her children. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Lena Troxel & Gail Troxel; her step-dad Walter Scrabler, her mother & father-in-law: Henry & Ruth Bihlmaier, brother-in-law Warren Bihlmaier, uncle Glen Buss, two aunté�a��a��s Wilma and Edith Buss.

Dolly is survived by her loving husband Larry of 40 years, her daughters Kim (Matt) Howel, Patty (Andy) Canas; 5 grandchildren: Tyler and his wife Cassie, Heather, LaTasha, Sean & Austin; a sister Shirley Lobdell; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm, with the Family present from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg , Nebraska .

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 14, at the American Lutheran Church, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Matthew Groenke and Lonna Grabenstein, PMA officiating.

Burial will take place in the American Lutheran Cemetery .

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Central Plains Hospice.
