Diane Beverly Harm, 75, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died November 28, 2021 at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, NE
She was born November 13, 1946 in North Platte, NE, daughter of Erick W. and Irma D. (Berger) Sall. When Diane was three years old her mother passed away and her father asked Ray and Mary Stickelman if they would help him take care of her while he was working. Ray and Mary Stickelman became like a second set of parents.
On May 31, 1964, Diane married Larry Lee Harm at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. Diane loved to quilt and loved reading books and was usually called a craft-a-holic. She loved gardening, cooking and canning all of her vegetables. She was always ready to assist her friends and family with anything they may have needed. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren and going to all of their school events. Diane had a soft spot in her heart for her pets and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey L. (Kristin) Harm of Gothenburg, Robert Harm of Gothenburg; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Hiner of Colombia Falls, MT; seven granddaughters, McKinley Harm, Delaney Harm, Annica Harm, Ellarey Harm, Katlin Harm, Josie Hiner, and Lucy Hiner; grandson, Chandler Harm; brother in law, Harold Harm; and sisters-in-law, Velma (Lysle) McClellan and Delores Harm along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by husband, Larry Lee Harm, her parents Erick and Irma, adoptive parents Ray and Mary Stickelman, brother, Robert Sall, brothers-in-law, Robert Harm, Andrew Harm, sisters-in-law, Gayle Harm, Meredith (Charles) Speck and her In-Laws Clarance and Margaret Harm.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm with family present from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Services will be held at American Lutheran Church, December 1, 2021 at 10:30 am with Pastor Doug Hjelmstad officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
