Devona Roudebush

DeVona E. Roudebush, 82, of Curtis, passed away on April 9, 2010, at Linden Court in North Platte, NE.
She was born on April 1, 1928, to Everett and Martha (Clawson) Cole on the Cole Farm, south of Curtis, NE. She graduated from University of Nebraska School of Agriculture. She married William J. Kleinow on July 3, 1947. On January 21, 1977, she married LeRoy Roudebush at the Methodist Church in Curtis, NE.
She was born and lived her whole life in Curtis. She taught at the rural schools in Frontier County. Later, DeVona worked at Adam's Drug Store in Curtis and then worked as a teller at Curtis State Bank. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Curtis. DeVona enjoyed playing the bells at the United Methodist Church. DeVona especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping. She was always on the go.
DeVona is survived by her son - Bill (Teri) Kleinow of North Platte, NE; daughter - Karen (Frank) Medo of CA; step-daughter - Janice (Jerry) Jurgens of North Platte, NE , Kathy (Ron) Rupert of Mc Cook, NE, Susan (Morgan) Baethke of IA; step-son - Fred (Lanita) Roudebush of HI; brother - Don (Marge) Cole of CA, Gerald (Gladys) Cole of Curtis, NE, Wayne (Claudia) Cole of CA and sister Connie (Lanny) Bellamy of Lincoln, NE, along with 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, William J. Kleinow, second husband, LeRoy Roudebush
