David Miller

David S. Miller, 48, a lifetime resident of Gothenburg, died October 14, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE

David was born on September 29, 1959 at Gothenburg to George & Marie (Richardson) Miller. He attended the Gothenburg Public Schools and graduated in 1978. As a teenager David was baptized by Forest French in the Ogallala Church of Christ. He was a mechanic at Platte Valley Auto in Lexington.

David enjoyed country life and his hobby of fixing up cars and motorcycles. He collected Hot Wheels, cars, motorcycles & belt buckles. He was a devoted son.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father George.

Survivors include his mother Marie Miller of rural Gothenburg; Aunt Elaine Harms of Kearney; Aunt Ruth Miller of Gothenburg; and Uncle Tony (Joanne) Miller of Brady; and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. and Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg with Pastor Smith Kite of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Peckham Cemetery, south of Gothenburg.
