Daniel Holliday

Daniel Arthur Holliday, 69, died August 3, 2022 in Lincoln, NE.

Dan was born November 12, 1952 in Lexington, NE, son of William and Elaine (Johnson) Holliday.  He grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School.  Growing up and into his adult years he attended the United Methodist Church in Lexington.

Dan enjoyed playing billiards and spending time in the shop doing woodworking.  He was meticulous about mowing the yard and made sure that the lines were just right.  He loved Eagles and enjoyed collecting different Eagle figures and beer steins over the years. He was married to Janet (Smith) Henderson for 18 years and had two children.

Survivors include son, Matthew (Shayla) Holliday; daughter, Stacey (Nate) Loose ; four grandchildren; brother, Rodney Holliday of Waxahachie, TX;  and numerous cousins and extended family.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents William and Elaine Holliday.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Lexington, NE.
