Daniel Craig Dalrymple, 66, of Gothenburg, NE, died September 1, 2016 at Gothenburg Health.
He was born December 25, 1949 in Denver, CO, son of William Glenn and Katholeen (Hiles) Dalrymple.
Danny grew up in Denver and graduated from Greeley West High School. He lived in Albuquerque, and Phoenix in the 1950's and 60's. He moved to Gothenburg in the 1970's and made his home there until his passing. Danny was a farmer and enjoyed working the land and pheasant hunting. He liked drag racing and restoring classic cars. He married Connie Coleman in 1979; together they had a son Matthew Craig.
Survivors include son, Matthew (Anna) Dalrymple of Gothenburg, NE; his brother, Jim (Connie L.) Dalrymple of Gothenburg, NE; ex-wife Connie J. Dalrymple of Gothenburg, NE; several extended family members and friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wesley Glenn Dalrymple.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with the family present from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Services will be held at American Lutheran Church, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:30 am with Pastor Jon Mapa officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
