Cora Evelyn Devine, 87, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died August 20, 2012 at Stone Hearth Estates in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born February 28, 1925 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of James and Grace (Seimering) Gray.

Cora's father died when she was seven years old and her family lived in Gothenburg until her mother married Ralph Helberg. The family then lived north of Brady later moving to Callaway. Morris and Cora worked hard making the land into their home of 67 years. Cora helped Morris on the farm as well as raising their four children, Ron, Brad, Tim and Linda. She still found time to enjoy herself at birthday club, neighborhood coffee club, teaching Sunday School, Bible School, and the church quilters. Cora could always be found embroidering or sewing something. There was always coffee brewing and something good to eat when you stopped by the house.

Cora was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed deeply.
