Bonnie June Bauman, 82, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died April 25, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.

Bonnie was born June 4th, 1929, at Gothenburg to Alvin and Winifred Ruth (Davis) Mannon.

She grew up in Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High School. After high school she married Kenneth Ray Bauman at the United Methodist Church on August 1st 1949. For many years was active in the Lutheran Church. She worked and volunteered at numerous places around Gothenburg.

Bonnie enjoyed quilting, sewing and was famous for her wearable art. She also liked to do puzzles, gardening, bridge club and loved her cats. One of her favorite hobbies was pursing good health and Reflexology. In addition, she took pleasure in the many activities at Stone Hearth. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Bonnie could always be found enjoying her morning coffee with her daughter and friends. She was well known for her colorful, generous and ministering personality. Bonnie had a love for the Lord that was contagious and wanted her friends and family to share that relationship with Him.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Bauman; daughter Tracy Dawn; parents Alvin and Ruth Mannon; sister Maxine Shively; and brother Carroll Fred Mannon.

Survivors include Daughters Christine (Rocky) Massin of St. Joseph, Missouri, Gayleen (Alan) Rickertsen of Gothenburg; 4 grandchildren Brock (Susan) Massin, Brandon (Dana Ekstrum) Massin, Koby (Carrie) Rickertsen, Ben (Sarah) Rickertsen; and seven great-grand children (Bailey, Ryan, Anna, Bella, Christian, Addison, Brooklyn); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
