Barbara Jean Larson, 59, of Cozad, Nebraska, died January 24, 2021 in Kearney, NE.
She was born July 20, 1961 in Fayette County, OH, daughter of Clifford E. and Ann (Martindale) Seay.
Barbara grew up in Washington CH, OH and was a 1979 graduate of Washington Senior High. After graduation she moved to Chillicothe, OH. A few years later she met Jeff and moved to Gothenburg. On December 27, 2002 her and Jeff Larson were married in Gothenburg, NE, In 2017 they bought a house outside of Cozad.
Barb worked in safety, security and accounting and food safety at Frito Lay in Gothenburg, NE. Barbs family was her world. She loved camping in the summer, loved going on golf cart rides with the grandkids but the kids had to drive she wouldn't. She looked forward to every Sunday, her and Jeff would go on their fun day ride in the side by side. Barb looked forward to every holiday spending time with the grandkids, baking cookies, cakes, making her homemade noodles and getting ready for dinner. She was actively involved in a Gothenburg Bible study.
Survivors include husband, Jeff Larson of Cozad, NE; daughter, Britany (Chad) Viter of Gothenburg, NE; three sons, Jesse Larson, of Cozad, NE, Justin (Cynthia Wong) Larson of Lincoln, NE, Dillon (Bailey Burke) Larson of Crete, NE. Her mother Ann Seay of Washington CH, OH. Two sisters Kathy Hampton of Concord, NC; Ethel Wood of Washington CH, OH; one brother Edward (Teresa) Seay of Chillicothe, OH.
Barbara was preceded in death by father, Clifford Seay, sister Patty Seay; two nephews Chris Wysong and Skylor Burgos.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Friday, January 29, 2021, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm with John Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
