Aspen Mcneilly

Aspen Christine McNeilly, 25, of Cozad, Nebraska, died January 29, 2021 University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

She was born March 6, 1995 in Denver, CO, daughter of Laura Lee (Cox) and Matthew Small McNeilly III.

Aspen loved her animals and if there were any strays she would rescue them.  She loved floating down the river, any kind of water activities and shooting guns.  Her adrenaline was always running and she loved spreading love to her family, especially her son and three stepsons. She enjoyed snowboarding and loved having FUN! She lived wherever her heart would take her.  Aspen helped anyone who needed anything; food, a place to sleep or whatever they may need.  She loved everyone she met without judgment.

Survivors include father, Matthew Small (Beth) McNeilly III of Craig, CO; son, Wyatt Enoch; three stepsons, Tyler Westgate, Brycen Hoffman and Drake Hoffman all of Cozad; brother, Devon  McNeilly of Craig, CO; two sisters, Katerina Martinez of Greeley, CO, Samantha Grove; Fiancée, Shane Hoffman of Cozad; sister-in-law Danielle Hoffman and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Laura Lee Cox; Grandmother, Linda Cox; Grandfather, Alvin Cox; Grandfather, Matthew McNeilly, Jr.; Grandmother, Carole McNeilly;  Great Uncle, Alvin McNeilly and Uncle, Robert Cox.

Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, February 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM.

Memorials may be given to the to Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 620 10th St, Gothenburg, NE to help with the funeral.
