Anthony Howell

June 23, 1985 — January 24, 2007

Anthony Lee Howell, 21, of Gothenburg, NE died on January 24, 2007 as a result of an accident. He was born on June 23, 1985 in Gothenburg, NE to Dennis Leroy and Robin (Ault) Howell. He grew up in Gothenburg and attended Gothenburg High School. While in high school Anthony enjoyed playing football, basketball and participating in track. Anthony received his GED in 2005.

Anthony was currently working at Dawson Tire in Gothenburg. He had worked previously at Walker's Steakhouse, Pizza Hut and McDonalds. He enjoyed skipo, poker, playing pool, working on cars, and spending time with friends and family. Anthony was much like his father, and would do anything for anybody. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother: Robin Howell of Gothenburg, NE; one brother Brandon Howell of Wayne, NE; and one sister: Ashley Howell of Gothenburg, NE. Paternal Grandmother: Audrey Tabor of Farnam, NE; Maternal Grandmother: Ruth Rylander of Gothenburg, NE; Great-Grandmother: Mary Ruth Rylander of Gothenburg, NE; One niece: Camran Marie Howell; and numerous other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Dennis Howell, his sister Mindy Howell, paternal grandfather Milton Howell, and maternal grandfather Rodger Lawson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, Gothenburg, NE, with Rev. Rick Rehmert officiating. Burial is in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Cozad, NE.

Visitation is Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church-1721 Lake Avenue-Gothenburg, Nebraska.
