Biography
Amy Ogden Sicklebower, 96, of Sheboygan, formerly of Gothenburg, NE, passed away on July 18, 2009 at the her home in the Sheboygan Senior Community, Sheboygan, WI.
She was born on May 24, 1913 to Silas and Novellia (Van Orsdol) Speckmann at Springfield, CO. She attended schools and graduated from Lamar High in 1931.
On April 23, 1939 she married Owen Sicklebower at Lamar, CO. They were married for almost 49 years before Owen preceded her in death in 1988.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, D.A.R. and the Gothenburg Public Library Board.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherie Giles, Tuscaloosa, AL, her son-in-law, Dr John (Jennifer) Keller of Sheboygan. four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Polly Hammes and her children. Andrew and Alexandrea of Sheboygan. Matthew (Kim) Keller and their children, Cia and Jake of Chicago Paige (Shayne) Musick and her children, Savannah and Sydney Kobza of Buda, TX and Rebecca (John) Wood and their children Ashlyn, Abigail and Addison of Tuscaloosa, AL, two sisters-in-law nieces. nephews. other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Owen she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marion Ogden Keller and her son-in-law Bruce Giles six brothers and two sisters.
