Amelia Olesen

Biography

Amelia Rose Olesen, 80, of Gothenburg, passed away at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital - Long Term Care on December 13, 2008.

Amelia was born on January 9, 1928 to Niels and Martha Olesen in Gothenburg. She was the youngest of three daughters. She attended Gothenburg schools and graduated from Gothenburg High in 1947.

She lived her entire life in Gothenburg. Amelia played the piano by ear and enjoyed singing hymns. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her church, her family, and close friends.

Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Geraldine Brueckner and Minerva Oman.

She is survived by her nieces: Cyndy (Gary) Robinson and Nanette (Jeff) Beattie and many nieces and nephews.
