Aaron Lindstedt, 80, of Rock Island Table, passed away on May 17, 2008 at Gothenburg.

Aaron Gustav was born on May 26, 1927 at Rock Island Table to Noble & Mildred (Andersson) Lindstedt. He grew up and attended school at Rock Island Table and lived at Rock Island Table all of his life.

Aaron married Freda May Pitkin at her parent's home in Callaway on August 18, 1946. To this union 3 children were born: Ted, Jolene, & Peggy.

Aaron wore many hats, he worked as a farmer, mechanic, gardener, welder, carpenter and a musician. He was a professional and perfectionist at all he did. Aaron loved life and loved music. He enjoyed restoring old tractors, raising a garden, cats and chickens. Black Angus cattle were his pride and joy.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife Freda of Gothenburg; son Ted (Debbie) Lindstedt of Cozad, daughters Jolene (Don) Olson of Arnold, Peggy (Dan) Yancy of Gothenburg; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, and a half-sister Wilhelmina Breuer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 21, 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.

Burial will take place in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
